Sylhet Women’s Nursing College (SWNC) is the Project of Holy Sylhet Holding Ltd & the sister concern of Sylhet Women’s Medical College. The Members of Holy Sylhet Holding Ltd. understood that the development of society is in the hands of youth with proper technical skills and find out that the main challenge of youth in Bangladesh was "Unemployment and Unemployable youth". This fact motivated them to establish nursing institute. Producing a medical person provide quality technical education along with personality development leading to the birth of Sylhet Women’s Nursing College.

SWNC Educational Mission to ensure wholesome education in its intellectual, moral and social attributes. It also seeks to accomplish the social development through inculcation of social values and by providing realistic social learning environment with the spirit of The Holy Sylhet Holding Ltd.

It has total 23 Faculties member. Among them, the post are Principal, Vice-Principa, Assistant Professor, Lecturer, Nursing Instructor, Clinical Instructor. There are 3 office stuff, one librarian and 15 MLSS. It has 7 well filled Laboratory and one library with available books.
